What is APIVerify?

APIVerify is a data management tool that certifies traditional health processes and verifies age, source and movement of individual cattle.

What is APIVerify PVP?

PVP stands for Process Verified Program. A Process Verified Program is a program where specified process verified points are supported by a documented quality management system. Participation in the APIVerify PVP will allow users to certify that their animals are USDA process verified for age and source verification.

In order to qualify for participation in the APIVerify PVP, specific requirements must be met to insure that animals are properly identified and the necessary records for these animals are maintained. Please click here for additional information regarding participation requirements

How APIVerify works

• The user enters the records into the APIVerify electronic data warehouse.
  • Records can be updated as needed.
  • Records are completely secure.Records can be updated as needed.
  • Records are accessible only by the user.
• When the calves are ready for market, a APIVerify certificate can be printed and signed by the veterinarian.
• Or the user can electronically transmit the records to the next owner.
